Centre, AL Housing Market Trends

With 3,664 people, 1,505 houses or apartments, and a median cost of homes of $317,096, Centre real estate is some of the most expensive in Alabama, although Centre home values aren't among America's most expensive.

Single-family detached homes are the single most common housing type in Centre, accounting for 74.61% of the city's housing units. Other types of housing that are prevalent in Centre include duplexes, homes converted to apartments or other small apartment buildings ( 9.31%), mobile homes or trailers ( 7.81%), and a few large apartment complexes or high rise apartments ( 6.88%).
